Responsibilities
Own systems end-to-end
Influence architecture and technical direction
Work on complex integrations with enterprise partners
Raise the bar for quality, reliability, and maintainability
Design, build, and maintain full stack web applications and services supporting enterprise and healthcare integrations
Develop and maintain backend services and APIs that integrate with internal systems and external EHR platforms
Build scalable, secure, multi-tenant services used by healthcare and enterprise customers
Collaborate with product, platform, and operations teams on system design and architecture
Build and maintain public and internal APIs used by web, mobile, IVR, and partner systems
Improve system reliability, performance, and observability
Write and maintain automated tests (unit, integration, and end-to-end where appropriate)
Help modernize legacy systems while maintaining uptime and stability
Participate in on-call rotation and production incident response when required
Mentor engineers through code reviews, design discussions, and technical problem solving
Qualification
Required
5+ years of professional software engineering experience
Experience working on live, customer-facing web applications
Comfortable working in an agile, distributed team
Proven ability to troubleshoot and improve production systems
Own systems end-to-end
Influence architecture and technical direction
Work on complex integrations with enterprise partners
Raise the bar for quality, reliability, and maintainability
Design, build, and maintain full stack web applications and services supporting enterprise and healthcare integrations

Backend: Orleans, C# and modern .NET
Backend: RESTful API design and service-to-service communication
Backend: Experience with distributed systems and microservice architectures
Backend: Strong understanding of async programming and concurrency
Frontend: Angular (or comparable modern framework)
Frontend: Solid JavaScript/TypeScript fundamentals
Frontend: Responsive web design principles
Data & Infrastructure: SQL databases; familiarity with NoSQL is a plus
Data & Infrastructure: CI/CD pipelines and automated testing
Data & Infrastructure: Cloud-based systems (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Data & Infrastructure: Logging, monitoring, and observability practices
Preferred
Experience working with EHR systems or healthcare platforms
Familiarity with HL7, FHIR, or healthcare messaging standards
Experience integrating with third-party enterprise systems
Experience handling regulated data (HIPAA, PHI, PII)
Event-driven or message-based architectures
