Responsibilities
Build and assemble railings, stairs, ladders, and related metal components using shop drawings and technical plans
Operate metal fabrication equipment including saws, shears, press brakes, and welding machines while following safe work practices
Read and interpret detailed fabrication drawings, job tickets, and specifications to ensure accuracy
Perform layout, cutting, fitting, welding, and finishing operations to meet quality and schedule requirements
Maintain high craftsmanship standards while managing tight deadlines and shifting workloads
Work closely with supervisors, engineers, and fellow fabricators to complete projects correctly and on time
Inspect completed work to confirm it meets internal and customer quality standards
Assist in identifying fabrication challenges and recommending practical solutions
Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety expectations
Adjust quickly to changes in project scope or production schedules without sacrificing quality
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
Demonstrated experience in metal fabrication, particularly miscellaneous metals and railing systems
Proficiency in FCAW welding; certifications are a plus
Strong ability to read and interpret shop drawings and blueprints
High attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work
Effective time management and ability to multitask
Physically capable of lifting materials up to 50 pounds and working in an industrial environment
Team-focused attitude with the ability to handle a fast-paced, production-driven workload
Willingness to move between multiple jobs to meet tight or changing schedules
