Entry, Mid LevelVerde Technologies Inc. is a climate-tech startup focused on developing innovative solar modules. They are seeking a Mechatronics Engineer to maintain and expand their Pilot Production Line, involving hands-on design, troubleshooting, and collaboration with R&D teams.

Responsibilities
Design and build custom tools, fixtures, and electromechanical systems
Create product and tool designs, including CAD models and engineering drawings
Set up, commission, and make new tools operational
Repair, troubleshoot, and maintain production and lab equipment
Support product design activities, from concept to pilot-scale hardware
Improve tool reliability, performance, and safety
Work closely with scientists and engineers to translate ideas into working hardware
Help with pilot line build-out, upgrades, and integration
Document designs, fixes, and maintenance procedures
Qualification
Required
Degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related field
Strong hands-on engineering mindset
Experience with mechanical design and electromechanical systems
Comfortable with tool repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting
CAD experience (SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or similar)
Ability to move fast, learn quickly, and solve problems without a playbook
Preferred
Experience with solar, photovoltaics, or thin-film manufacturing
Automation, controls, sensors, or basic PLC experience
Experience in startup, pilot-line, or R&D manufacturing environments
Familiarity with vacuum systems, coating tools, or industrial equipment
