Systems Engineering Intern (Summer 2026)(Remote)
RTX is a leader in aerospace and defense, providing an exceptional foundation for students to work on complex problems. The Systems Engineering Intern will support architecture development, design reviews, and integration activities while gaining exposure to air traffic control and weather RADARS.

Responsibilities
You will support architecture development, CONOPS development, trade studies, modeling and simulation, systems/software/hardware requirements analysis
You will support design reviews
You will support customer requests for information
You will support the incorporation of changes to software and/or equipment
Supporting ongoing integration and test activities
You will correct and update technical documents
You will follow established SE processes and procedures
Qualification
Required
Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in an applicable discipline
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
Preferred
General working knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems
Experience with and/or course work in Air Traffic Control or Weather radar hardware
Understanding of system engineering practices, from requirements generation to verification and validation
Academic projects and examples of innovation of new and emerging technologies
Course work and examples of Technical Writing skills
