Responsibilities
Manage both inbound and outbound patient calls (typical range: ~15–16 calls/hour)
Assist new patients with onboarding and check status of prescription orders
Process refill requests and coordinate transfers to clinical pharmacists
Verify insurance details and communicate with provider offices as needed
Document all interactions accurately within our systems
Support copay assistance renewals and other patient programs
Provide exceptional, patient-centered customer service in a fast-paced queue environment
Qualification
Required
Active Oregon Pharmacy Technician License
Strong communication skills
Comfort with desk-based work
Ability to learn quickly
Experience in managing both inbound and outbound patient calls
Ability to assist new patients with onboarding and check status of prescription orders
Experience in processing refill requests and coordinating transfers to clinical pharmacists
Ability to verify insurance details and communicate with provider offices as needed
Experience in documenting all interactions accurately within systems
Ability to support copay assistance renewals and other patient programs
Exceptional, patient-centered customer service skills
Flexibility for both opening and closing shifts
Ability to work rotating 8-hour shifts between 8am–7pm (M–F)
Ability to work occasional Saturday rotation (8am–12pm), approximately once every 6–8 weeks
Ability to manage multiple systems and detailed processes

Preferred
Healthcare exposure (pharmacy, hospital, medical office, billing/coding)
