They are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Administrative Assistant to provide essential support to the Accounting Department, focusing on clerical and administrative tasks related to Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable.

Responsibilities
Scan and electronically file Accounts Receivable documents
Batch incoming checks for processing
Run check tapes and verify totals
Prepare and send customer invoices and billing statements
Sort and distribute incoming mail
Assist with posting customer payments under supervision
Prepare bank deposits as needed
File and organize Accounts Payable documents
Print, sort, and distribute vendor invoices
Monitor the Accounts Payable email inbox and forward items as needed
Match invoices with receiving documents and purchase orders
Assist with basic invoice research and follow-up
Maintain accurate and organized accounting records
Assist the accounting team with day-to-day administrative tasks
Support month-end processes as assigned
Perform other clerical or accounting duties as needed
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent required
Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to follow procedures and meet deadlines
Willingness to learn accounting processes and systems
Good communication skills and a positive attitude
Preferred
Previous office, clerical, or customer service experience a plus but not required
