Responsibilities

Collaborate with program and factory customers to identify, develop, and define manufacturing automation and digital solutions
Support early ‘New Product Introduction’ activities including Design for Manufacturing engagements to shape Raytheon products and automation solutions
Gain alignment between Industry 4.0 and factory/program strategic roadmaps
Provide technical leadership through early project phases (ideation through project definition) and continued technical guidance after transition to the project execution team

Required

Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Project leadership experience (ex. Technical Project Lead, Project Manager, Integrated Product Team Lead, Product Design Lead, etc)
Experience with Industry 4.0 technologies including manufacturing automation and smart/digital factory technologies
Experience with new product introduction, design for manufacturing, design for automation, and/or detailed specification of equipment for production

Preferred

Active DOD Secret Clearance
Professional experience with the deployment and integration of automation systems (robotics, controls, vision, etc.)
Strong communication skills including the ability to convey complex technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Experience developing technology strategies aligned to business needs, including return on investment
