Responsibilities
Design and Development: Create and implement complex digital systems using FPGAs, ensuring they meet project specifications and performance requirements
Testing and Validation: Conduct thorough testing and validation of FPGA designs to ensure functionality and reliability
Collaboration: Work closely with hardware designers, software engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate FPGA solutions into larger systems
Debugging and Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues in FPGA designs, optimizing performance and efficiency
Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of design processes, test results and system specifications
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Must be a US citizen
Top Secret Security Clearance
Master's degree in electrical engineering degree and 12 years of experience in FPGA design and development, of which 5 years must be in the DoD
BA/BS degree and 15 years of experience in Electrical Engineering and experience in FPGA design and development, of which 5 years must be in the DoD
Strong knowledge of digital logic design, hardware description languages (HDLS) such as VHDL, or Verilog, and FPGA development tools
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to tackle complex design challenges
