Technical Program Operations Specialist – NASA AMES

Analytical Mechanics Associates (AMA) is seeking a Technical Program Operations Specialist to provide operational support for computational and engineering activities within NASA Ames Research Center’s Computational Aerosciences Branch. This role involves programmatic and operational support enabling execution of NASA technical tasks, including coordination of reporting requirements and compliance with NASA procedural workflows.

Responsibilities

Support preparation, coordination, and submission of NASA technical reports and quarterly deliverables
Assist with compliance tracking for NASA Form 1676 submissions
Coordinate publication tracking, abstract submissions, and conference documentation
Maintain structured records of technical releases and report updates
Support travel planning and documentation for technical staff, including conference and technical interchange meetings
Assist with organization of technical presentations, memos, and milestone documentation
Coordinate across multiple technical stakeholders to track action items and reporting deadlines
Support NASA workflow systems such as STRIVE and other internal reporting platforms
Maintain documentation related to program milestones and task deliverables
Assist with tracking and documentation required for technical software or report releases

Required

U.S. Citizenship (required)
Minimum 10+ years of experience supporting government or technical program operations environments
Experience working within NASA procedural and reporting environments
Familiarity with NASA Form 1676 processes and technical release workflows
Experience using NASA systems such as STRIVE or similar internal reporting tools
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Strong organizational and documentation coordination skills
Ability to coordinate across multiple technical stakeholders
Ability to work on-site at NASA Ames Research Center

Preferred

Experience supporting aerospace, computational, or engineering organizations
Familiarity with NASA publication approval workflows and conference processes
Experience tracking technical deliverables under government contracts
Exposure to CFD, aeroacoustics, aerospace engineering, or computational science environments (organizational exposure preferred)
