Client Services Associate
Shira Ridge Wealth Management is an independent, fee-only registered investment advisory firm based in San Rafael, California. They are seeking a Client Services Associate to support the client account management team by managing client inquiries, onboarding new clients, and maintaining organized records.
Responsibilities
Answer incoming phone calls in a professional and courteous manner
Route calls, take messages, and provide basic information as needed
Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail
Assist with new client onboarding
Process new account paperwork and service-related forms accurately and efficiently
Maintain physical and digital client files, ensuring high levels of confidentiality and data security
Coordinate with external partners, i.e CPAs and attorneys, to gather necessary client information
Coordinate with team members to ensure requests are handled efficiently
Maintain organized records and documentation within the Customer Relationship Management (CRM)
Perform general administrative and clerical duties as assigned
Ensure timely, accurate responses to all client correspondence and inquiries
Build trusted, collaborative relationships with our custodian’s operations teams to accurately execute cashiering, deposits, withdrawals, and other account transactions
Develop proficiency in SRWM’s core technology tools, software, and platforms
Qualification
Required
Are well organized, with strong attention to detail and the ability to support multiple advisors
Communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing
Demonstrate strong ethics and a commitment to maintaining strict confidentiality of client and firm information
Enjoy collaborating and contributing to a team that consistently puts clients first
Are eager to learn about the financial planning and wealth management profession and enjoy working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
Are comfortable with technology and able to learn new tools, platforms, and software quickly
Are open to feedback, coaching, and continuous improvement
Bring a positive, solutions-oriented attitude to their work
Preferred
An associate or bachelor's degree preferred
Two years of financial services experience, client service, or banking. (preferred); experience in general business, or in a client service role will also be considered
Experience working with custodial operations teams (preferred but not required)
