Responsibilities
Own and support core business platforms including eCommerce systems, CMS platforms, ERP applications, and internal operational tools to ensure reliability, performance, and secure operation
Administer and maintain the iSeries environment, including user access management, job scheduling, system health monitoring, backups, and issue resolution
Design, build, and maintain custom internal tools, automations, forms, and workflows that streamline operations and reduce manual processes
Develop and maintain system integrations to improve data flow, operational efficiency, and reporting accuracy across platforms
Create dashboards, reports, and analytical insights to support operations, finance, and leadership decision-making
Provide ongoing monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolution of production system issues, including occasional after-hours support for critical incidents
Serve as the technical liaison between internal teams and third-party vendors supporting business systems and platforms
Apply best practices for system reliability, access control, documentation, and operational resilience
Identify opportunities to improve system performance, reduce operational risk, and optimize platform usage
Support continuous improvement and incremental modernization initiatives while maintaining system stability as the top priority
Collaborate with IT, security, compliance, and business teams to ensure systems meet governance, security, and operational requirements
Document system processes, workflows, integrations, and operational procedures to support knowledge sharing and redundancy
Observe and adhere to DMP Data Classification Standard
Observe company policies. Continuously identify opportunities to improve efficiency while maintaining compliance with operation and security requirements
May perform related duties or fill in for others in the department or other departments when requested. May train or instruct fellow workers regarding their own duties
Qualification
Required
Seven (7) + years of progressive experience supporting business-critical systems including ERP, eCommerce platforms, CMS systems, and internal operational tools
Strong hands-on experience building and maintaining custom internal tools, workflows, automations, and system integrations that support operational efficiency
Senior-level systems administration experience, including enterprise or legacy platforms such as iSeries (AS/400) environments, user administration, job control, system health monitoring, and backups
Demonstrated experience supporting and optimizing interconnected business systems in high-availability operational environments
Strong data analysis and reporting skills, including building dashboards, operational reports, and ad-hoc analytics to support business decision-making
Proven troubleshooting and problem-resolution skills across complex systems environments
Experience working with third-party vendors as a technical liaison, supporting platform performance, enhancements, and issue resolution
Highly developed communication skills, including the ability to articulate technical and architectural concepts at an executive level, influence decision-making across business and technical leadership, and provide clear, structured guidance in ambiguous or fragmented environments
