Responsibilities

Lead the hardware and software integration and development tests for the high performance aerospace power electronics (DC-DC, DC-AC, AC-DC) products
Responsible to specify, design, and perform testing of electrical aspects of product modules and boards implemented in airborne power conversion and distribution systems
Clearly define test plans and procedures, perform test cases and generate test reports for board/module bring-up, design verification and system integration, and support other tests including end-of-line, environmental / electrical stress and safety-of-flight
Lead tester designs from conception into production while working with cross-functional teams. Start to finish ownership of tester hardware to characterize / validate features, functions and performance of complex high voltage converters – from specification to design, build, manufacturing, and operation
Create development test cases for modules and boards
Tester design, covering both hardware and software needs
Test station build, bring-up, troubleshoot, operation and maintenance
Test station data consolidation, visualization, review and analysis
Conduct failure analysis of the modules / boards to understand the root cause and lead the cross-functional team effort to identify the resolutions
Support flight test data review and analysis for airborne power electronics products
Drive continuous design and performance improvement of power electronics products, and provide constructive and accurate feedbacks to the teams
