Responsibilities
Design and development of the whole material handling robotics/factory automation lines for customers
Communicate with clients to understand the all the requirement including quality
Develop and maintain engineering drawings, schematics, and Bill of Materials and budgeting
Create records of design changes and project updates for internal and customer use
Communicate and collaborate with mechanical engineering manager to create a concept
Work with various department (Project Manager, Controls Engineering, manufacturing) until customer’s approval of the design
Participate in meetings regarding projects with internal departments and outside customers
Assist management in design department process improvement and performance analysis
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in a Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field preferred
Minimum 3 years' design experience in custom robotics/machineries/assembly
Ability to read, interpret, and improve engineering drawings and schematics
Strong communication and collaboration ability in a multicultural environment
Strong problem-solving ability and willingness to collaborate with other colleagues and departments
