Senior Software Architect
Omron Robotics and Safety Technologies is a leader in industrial automation, developing innovative robotics solutions. They are seeking a Senior Software Architect to lead the design and evolution of their mobile robotics software platforms, ensuring scalability and compliance while guiding development teams.

Qualification
Required
10+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 5 years in an architecture or technical leadership role
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
In-depth knowledge of state-of-the-art programming languages and object-oriented approaches in designing, coding, testing and debugging programs
Architect and design end-to-end software solutions that meet business, regulatory, and performance requirements
Define and enforce architectural standards, coding practices, and design patterns across teams
Collaborate with stakeholders (product, compliance, security, operations) to translate business needs into technical roadmaps
Ability to perform cost benefit analysis, business case development, and financial justification
Strong knowledge of microservices, APIs, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and distributed systems
Lead technical decision-making for cloud-native, microservices, and event-driven architectures
Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend adoption strategies to improve resilience, scalability, and maintainability
Experience with secure coding practices, identity management, and compliance frameworks
Demonstrated ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable strategies for cross-functional teams
Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code
Preferred
experience with motion and robotics, real-time operating systems and event-driven architecture
