Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain automation tests using Python for data validation
Build and execute backend automation for API testing using Rest Assured/Karate
Develop and optimize SQL queries for database validation
Work with modern scripting language-based components to ensure application quality
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile/Waterfall environments across onsite/offshore models
Identify defects, troubleshoot issues, and deliver high-quality releases
Qualification
Required
Candidate must be willing to work 3 days onsite (WFO)
Work location: Dallas, TX
Candidates based in Dallas, TX: Selection process includes two in-person interviews at the client office
Candidates outside Dallas, TX: First round via Zoom, followed by an in-person interview at the Dallas client office
Work Authorization: Open to U.S. Citizens (USC) and Green Card (GC) holders only
6+ years of overall IT experience
4+ years of relevant experience in Python + SQL
Strong hands-on experience with automated testing
Design, develop, and maintain automation tests using Python for data validation
Build and execute backend automation for API testing using Rest Assured/Karate
Develop and optimize SQL queries for database validation
Work with modern scripting language-based components to ensure application quality
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile/Waterfall environments across onsite/offshore models
Identify defects, troubleshoot issues, and deliver high-quality releases
Strong proficiency in Python
Experience with automation frameworks and tools such as Selenium, TestNG, Cucumber, JUnit
Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Bitbucket, CloudBees, Git, Jira
Solid understanding of databases and SQL
Preferred
Good to have proficiency in multiple programming languages (Java, Python, C#, etc.)
