Responsibilities

Develop and implement PLC, HMI, and SCADA applications for industrial automation systems
Design electrical control schematics and panel layouts using electrical CAD software
Configure and program control platforms from major automation vendors (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens, GE, Modicon, Koyo)
Select, configure, and calibrate process instrumentation including flow, level, pressure, and temperature devices
Design and commission motor control systems including variable frequency drives, soft starters, and related equipment
Troubleshoot automation systems in both shop and field environments
Support system testing, startup, and commissioning activities at project sites
Design and implement industrial communication networks using Ethernet, serial, and wireless technologies
Select hardware and components based on project requirements and performance objectives
Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure project success
Support project execution activities including scheduling, documentation, and change management
Ensure work is performed safely around industrial equipment and electrical systems

Required

Preferred

Experience with electro-mechanical or mechatronic systems
Electrical schematic design experience using AutoCAD Electrical or similar tools
Hands-on PLC programming experience (Allen-Bradley preferred)
HMI and SCADA development experience
Industrial networking experience (EtherNet/IP, Modbus TCP, PROFIBUS, PROFINET, serial communications)
Knowledge of industrial electrical and safety standards (UL508A, NEC, NFPA 79)
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving ability
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational and time management skills
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, computer engineering, or related technical discipline preferred
