Responsibilities
Supporting the MCU product and test group in validating and characterizing silicon for new product development and release
Involve automated test equipment or bench-level setups for data collection for new products to support the release process
Working with product, test, and design engineers to identify new product requirements for validation and characterization
Writing technical reports and documentation of projects
Collaborating with multiple groups within the organization and learning from technical experts in product, test, and design disciplines
Qualification
Required
Must currently be enrolled in a bachelor's level degree in Computer Engineering and/or Electrical Engineering
Technical background in embedded systems
Experience in software programming and implementation
Systematic approach to problem solving and organization
Self-motivated, highly driven good communication skills
Candidate must be able to work in person for this position
Minimum 15 hours per week
Preferred
Graduation date spring 2026
Knowledge and experience with microcontrollers and semiconductor physics
Knowledge and experience with automated test equipment and/or laboratory bench equipment
Experience with scripting languages (i.e. Perl/Python)
Experience with PIC16, PIC18, ARM and/or AVR microcontrollers
Experience with processing, analysis, and presentation of data (i.e. Excel, JMP, etc.)
