Responsibilities
Lead the design and implementation of complex Salesforce solutions, including custom applications, integrations, and automation workflows
Develop and optimize APIs, including REST and SOAP web services, to facilitate communication between Salesforce and external systems
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system architecture, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards for security, load balancing, and system hardening
Implement and maintain integration pipelines using tools like ETL, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines to support continuous deployment
Manage system configuration, including setting up firewalls, VPNs, DNS, DHCP, GPOs, and other network security measures to safeguard data integrity
Conduct vulnerability assessments, threat intelligence analysis, and system hardening to ensure compliance with security standards
Utilize programming languages such as JavaScript, C#, Python, and frameworks like Ruby on Rails for custom development tasks
Oversee system administration tasks related to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), virtualization (VMware, ESXi), container orchestration (Kubernetes), and operating systems (Linux, Windows)
Support system architecture planning for large-scale deployments involving NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB), relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server), and data management tools like Oracle and T-SQL
Drive Agile development processes, including sprint planning, code reviews, debugging, testing, and documentation in line with SDLC best practices

Proven experience as a Salesforce Developer or Architect with extensive knowledge of the Salesforce platform, including Lightning components, Apex programming, Visualforce pages, and Salesforce integrations
Strong background in system engineering principles such as system design, system architecture, load balancing, virtualization (VMware), cloud computing (AWS/Azure), and network security protocols (firewall, VPN)
Hands-on experience with modern development tools like Git, Jenkins, Docker/Kubernetes for DevOps workflows
Familiarity with enterprise IT infrastructure components such as operating systems (Windows/Linux), network management (DNS/DHCP/VPN), security frameworks (GPO/Threat intelligence/Vulnerability management) and scripting languages (Shell Scripting/Bash/PowerShell)
Preferred
Knowledge of microservices architecture (Microservices, REST APIs) and web technologies (React Express, CSS) is highly desirable
Demonstrated ability to work within an SDLC framework using Agile methodologies; experience in system hardening, vulnerability assessment, and information security practices is preferred
Educational background in Computer Science or related fields; certifications such as Salesforce Certified Technical Architect or Platform Developer are advantageous
