Responsibilities
Oversee all day-to-day production operations for the entire plant
Coordinate with the production team to identify and resolve production problems and bottlenecks
Design and implement safety protocols to minimize accidents and ensure a safe working environment
Work closely with the development team when scaling up new products from laboratory
Monitor equipment and machinery operations to ensure they function optimally and develop preventive maintenance programs to reduce downtime and increase equipment lifespan
Conduct root cause analyses on product non-conformances and propose solutions to prevent future recurrences
Manage and oversee the repair and maintenance of equipment to minimize production delays
Determine the optimal layout and organization of the production floor to increase capacity and efficiency
Collaborate with management on Capital Improvements for replacement of plant systems, such as electrical, mechanical, and plumbing
Stay up to date with technological advancements in the manufacturing industry to improve processes and production
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in engineering
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
Strong knowledge of processing techniques
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work as part of a team
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Knowledge of industry standards and regulations
Experience in project management
Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
