$43/hr - $43/hrEPITEC is seeking an IT Operations Support Specialist to join their onsite Plant IT team supporting a large manufacturing facility. This role involves providing technical support for IT operations and manufacturing systems, troubleshooting incidents, and assisting with process improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities
Provide onsite IT operations and technical support for manufacturing plant systems
Support IT applications, infrastructure, operating systems, and end-user productivity tools across the facility
Troubleshoot and resolve incidents related to servers, networks, applications, and plant floor systems
Support incident triage, escalations, and business continuity efforts
Interface with global IT teams (e.g., Server Operations, Network Operations, DBA, Ops Control) to resolve issues
Support both legacy manufacturing systems and newer digital solutions
Assist with process improvement initiatives supporting flexible and lean manufacturing
Maintain accurate technical documentation and knowledge sharing
Support a multi-shift manufacturing environment, including flexibility for off-shift or weekend production when needed
Assist site IT leadership with managing assignments and workload as needed
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or GED
Experience with or willingness to quickly learn: Windows Server (2016+) and/or Linux server administration
Experience with or willingness to quickly learn: Windows Active Directory / ADFS
Experience with or willingness to quickly learn: Virtual environments (VMware vSphere)
Experience with or willingness to quickly learn: Cisco routers and switches (basic staging, troubleshooting, and cabling)
Experience with or willingness to quickly learn: Office 365 and SharePoint
Experience with or willingness to quickly learn: Windows PCs, printers, and office automation tools
Experience with or willingness to quickly learn: Android and iOS devices (iPhones, iPads)
Experience with or willingness to quickly learn: Handheld scanners and imaging devices
Strong technical troubleshooting and customer support skills
Ability to work onsite with flexible hours in support of a multi-shift operation
Preferred
Bachelor's Degree
Experience with: Cisco Software-Defined Architecture (SDA)
Experience with: PowerShell scripting
Experience with: Plant floor or industrial automation systems (PLCs, control systems)
Experience with: Manufacturing or industrial IT environments
Experience with: IIoT, mobility solutions, or digital manufacturing technologies
