Responsibilities
Work collaboratively with DLA Business Partners, DLA Application Portfolios, and Industry as the Enterprise Engineering authority; and to provide support and guidance in the areas of Solutions Engineering, Enterprise System Engineering, Configuration Management, Enterprise Testing and Enterprise IT Accessibility aligning to DLA strategy
The Business Systems Analyst shall support collaboration with DLA Business Partners, the CTO, the Program Executive Officer, and DLA Application Portfolios
The mission is to lead DLA technology strategic efforts through analysis and implementation of advanced and emerging technology capabilities and institutionalize a DLA technology-focused capability to guide technology adoption, standardization and innovation
Qualification
Required
Expert in business processes
Responsible for formulating systems scope and objectives relative to the organization's business plan and industry requirements
Acts as a member of a project team responsible for providing technical guidance concerning the business implications of the application of various systems
Experience with: DOD Lifecycle management, DOD 5000.1, 5000.2 and Guidebook, PPBE, ARIS system engineering tool, Defense Acquisition Management Information Retrieval (DAMIR) System reporting format for DAES, OSD report, SAP products for Enterprise Resource Planning
Four (4) years relevant experience
Must have experience with the following programs: MS Suite, Word, Excel, Access, Project Management, and PowerPoint
Project Management certification (i.e., Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification or other equivalent nationally recognized certification)
Secret clearance
Required to stand, walk and sit; communicate verbally both in person and by telephone; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects or controls; reach with hands and arms. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, color vision and the ability to adjust focus
Preferred
Experience operating in a Government or Military culture
Be a positive, self-motivated, and proactive person with the ability to adapt to change and tolerate stressful situations
Candidate must communicate effectively with team members, team lead, management, and government customer
Must have the ability and desire to research and develop creative solutions to unique problems with minimal supervision
