Senior MEP Superintendent
PTS Advance is a nationally recognized staffing and consulting firm supporting Engineering, Construction, and Infrastructure clients across the U.S. They are seeking an experienced MEP Superintendent to oversee Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing field operations for large-scale commercial, healthcare, and industrial construction projects, ensuring quality and safety standards are met.
Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day MEP field operations from preconstruction through commissioning
Coordinate and manage mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection subcontractors
Develop and maintain MEP schedules in alignment with overall project timelines
Lead MEP coordination meetings and collaborate with Project Managers, Engineers, and Owners
Review construction documents, shop drawings, RFIs, and submittals for accuracy and constructability
Ensure compliance with safety standards, local codes, and quality control procedures
Identify and resolve field conflicts proactively to avoid schedule delays
Support testing, commissioning, and final inspections of MEP systems
Track manpower, productivity, and material deliveries
Maintain strong communication with project stakeholders and field teams
Qualification
Required
7+ years of experience as an MEP Superintendent, MEP Field Superintendent, or similar role
Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
Proven leadership and subcontractor management experience
Strong understanding of construction sequencing and scheduling
Preferred
Experience on large commercial, healthcare, mission critical, data center, or industrial projects
OSHA 30
Proficiency in construction management software (Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, etc.)
