Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will have experience in garment construction, alterations, and sewing techniques

This role involves working closely with designers and production staff to create, modify, and repair garments with precision and care

This seamstress will support design and research of underwear type garments

Required

High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in sewing or fashion is a plus

Proven experience as a seamstress or in garment construction

Proficiency in hand sewing and operating industrial sewing machines

Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Good communication and time management skills

Preferred

Experience with specialty fabrics (e.g., silk, leather, stretch materials)

Knowledge of pattern making and garment design

Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Apparel Production, or a related field
