Responsibilities
Provide advanced technical support for enterprise video surveillance systems supporting government customers
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve complex issues across IP and analog camera environments
Configure and support network infrastructure related to surveillance systems (routers, switches, firewalls, VLANs, NAT)
Oversee and mentor Tier 2 support personnel while contributing to technical documentation and training materials
Participate in technical meetings, briefings, and working sessions with internal teams and stakeholders
Support deployed systems globally and ensure high availability and performance standards
Qualification
Required
3–5+ years of experience supporting video surveillance systems (IP and analog)
OR 5+ years in network/system administration supporting camera or security infrastructure
Strong troubleshooting skills with a methodical, root-cause approach
Experience with TCP/IP networking, routing, switching, VLANs, VPNs, and firewall configurations
Familiarity with deploying and supporting VMS platforms and camera hardware
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred
Experience supporting federal or enterprise security environments
Background in large-scale camera deployments or distributed surveillance systems
Experience mentoring or leading technical support teams
