Manager, Continuous Improvement

Responsibilities

Lead the site operational excellence team
Identify opportunities for improvement and develop the improvement strategy
Lead continuous improvement activities relative to quality, productivity, working capital, 5S, and capital expansion
Utilizes DMAIC (Define Measure Analyze Improve Control) as necessary to address problems in the business
Utilize Lean and Six Sigma tools to eliminate waste and improve overall process yields
Drive employee engagement
Train employees in operational excellence techniques

Qualification

Required

BA/BS degree in related field
Formal Lean, Six Sigma or OE certification. (Black Belt)
5-7 years of in-depth experience in continuous improvement and operational excellence
5-7 years of experience in six sigma and lean manufacturing
Experience within a manager role
Statistics, Black Belt certified
Strong computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Powerpoint
Strong skills with Minitab or other statistical analysis software
