Director of Cloud Operations

The Director of Cloud Operations develops and implements a global hosting strategy to improve business processes and organizational effectiveness while managing infrastructure development and ensuring high availability and security of IT services.
Responsibilities
Continuously enhance the security and compliance of production environments by implementing best practices and new security measures
Ensure high availability of cloud services, maintaining reliable and continuous access to cloud-based resources and applications
Develop and implement a robust system for tracking and reporting key performance indicators (KPIs) to enhance organizational accountability
Manage vendor relationships from selection through contract negotiation, ensuring favorable terms and strategic partnerships
Lead and optimize the integration process for Delivery Engine (DE) teams post-acquisition, ensuring seamless operational and cultural alignment
Deliver reliable hosted solutions with consistent uptime of 99.9% or higher
Qualification
Required
8+ years of experience in IT or cloud operations
2+ years of IT leadership experience, including help desk establishment, vendor management, and budget ownership
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
25–50% travel required
Preferred
Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field
