Vice President Digital of Performance Marketing
ClearOne Advantage is seeking a hands-on performance marketing operator to own and scale their digital acquisition engine. This leader will be accountable for profitable growth across various digital platforms while building a measurement and testing system to enhance key performance metrics over time.
Responsibilities
Own hands-on performance and execution across Google Ads (Search + PMax/YouTube), Meta, TikTok, and YouTube
Build/maintain account structure + governance: naming conventions, bidding strategy, audiences, negatives, pacing guardrails
Write/iterate ad copy and lead creative testing with designers/editors (hooks, angles, UGC, offers, CTAs)
Own landing page + lead-flow CRO: site speed, form completion, call intent, qualification, call connect
Partner with Sales/Operations to reduce funnel leakage: lead quality, contact rate, show rate, conversion, rep capacity alignment
Implement/optimize lead routing and quality feedback loops (what converts and why)
Partner with Analytics/Finance to build trusted measurement: ROI, CAC, LTV, payback, attribution (MTA/MMM), and incrementality testing (geo/holdouts/lift)
Own tracking hygiene end-to-end: pixels/CAPI, UTM governance, offline conversion imports, call tracking, CRM events
Run a weekly testing cadence across creative, offers/messaging, landing pages, audiences, and bidding approaches
Publish a simple test-and-learn operating report: what we tested, what we learned, what we’re scaling/killing
Build and lead a high-performing team (media buyers, creative strategists, CRO, analytics support) and manage agencies as leverage—not dependency
Establish SOPs + QA + reporting standards and a tight operating rhythm for performance reviews
Ensure full compliance and brand protection across channels: approved claims/disclaimers, platform policy adherence, and tight Legal/Compliance coordination
Proactively reduce account and policy risk by avoiding disallowed claims, improving ad quality, and maintaining continuity
Qualification
Required
10+ years in performance marketing, including senior ownership of paid acquisition in regulated industries (debt relief, financial services, insurance, healthcare finance, etc.)
Hands-on expertise in Google Ads + Meta + TikTok + YouTube (you've actively managed budgets, not only overseen them)
Deep understanding of unit economics: CAC, LTV, payback, contribution margin, and forecasting
Strong command of measurement: attribution tradeoffs, offline conversion tracking, incrementality, and experimentation
Proven ability to scale while staying compliant and protecting ad accounts
Experience driving leads to a call center / inside sales environment and optimizing for call connect + enrollments, not just leads
Experience with call tracking + CRM event pipelines (HubSpot/Salesforce-like), offline conversion uploads, and lead quality scoring
Familiarity with creative performance systems (UGC testing, creator whitelisting, concept pipelines)
Bachelor's degree required (Marketing, Business, Analytics, Economics, or related), or equivalent practical experience
Google Ads (Search/Video), Meta, and TikTok certifications, plus analytics/measurement certifications such as GA4, attribution, and experimentation
