Responsibilities

Design, build, and validate complex analytical and statistical models

Apply statistical, machine learning, and advanced analytics techniques appropriately

Interpret data and clearly distinguish signal vs. noise

Validate and explain results in a regulated context

Focus on accuracy, repeatability, and explainability of models and insights

Build and analyze reliable, high-quality datasets

Establish and maintain strong data lineage and process documentation

Support analytics-driven decision making across teams

Required

5–7+ years of experience in data science, analytics, or related roles

Strong fundamentals in data engineering concepts

SQL (moderate to advanced proficiency)

Data interpretation and statistical reasoning

Experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms

Proven experience with process documentation and model validation

Comfortable building foundational data practices from scratch

Must be willing to work onsite 4 days/wk

Preferred

Exposure to ML/AI (limited use due to federal restrictions)

Experience deploying models into production

Familiarity with data pipelines (helpful, not required)
