Responsibilities
Support QU Engineer in day-to-day work
Measurement system analysis on gages and fixtures
Dimensional studies on new products / processes
Support of prototype build process – inspection and preparation of customer requirements
Problem solving support
Support local plants during new launches
Special project assignment to improve overall team efficiency and performance level
Qualification
Required
Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering, Preferred
Other Engineering degree acceptable
Self starter / high motivation
Basic statistical understanding
Hands on
Start Date - This position is planned to start March 1, 2026, or later depending on availability
In office at Auburn Hills, MI
Must be currently attending a college or university (Graduation year of 2027 or later)
Able to work at least 20 hours per week on average during the school year/ flexible schedule
Able to work 30-40 hours per week on average during the summer/ flexible schedule
