Fleet Manager
The N.C. Department of Adult Correction is one of the largest state agencies responsible for the care and supervision of adults sentenced for violating North Carolina laws. They are seeking a Fleet Manager to ensure the efficient operation of the DAC's fleet of vehicles, manage staff, and oversee vehicle performance and maintenance reporting.

Responsibilities
Managing the 6,000+ DAC vehicle fleet
Provide monthly reporting metrics on vehicle assignment counts, vehicle performance trending, vehicle maintenance costs, and vehicle mileage reporting compliance
Oversee the Adult Correction GPS vehicle tracking system (Geotab)
Oversee security fabrication/installation and associated material, cost, ordering and projected needs for future installs
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree from an appropriately accredited institution and five (5) years of experience related to the area of assignment; or an equivalent combination of training and experience
Demonstrated success in determining program/project priorities, processes and procedures
Thorough knowledge of modern principles and methods of vehicle/fleet management for a large fleet of vehicles
Thorough knowledge of material management related operations
Thorough knowledge of fiscal and procurement policies and procedures
