Solutions Engineer

Kägwerks designs and develops rugged communications technologies for the war fighter. The Solutions Engineer serves as the primary pre-sales technical resource, enabling sales opportunities through technical demonstrations and consultations.

Responsibilities

Lead pre-sales technical demonstrations, evaluations, trials, and proof-of-capability activities in support of active opportunities
Act as the primary technical point of contact for customers during pre-sales engagements
Configure, deploy, and operate Kägwerks systems in lab, field, and customer environments
Translate customer requirements into recommended system configurations using existing products and capabilities
Collaborate with Systems Engineers to validate configurations and resolve technical constraints
Troubleshoot and adapt systems during demonstrations and trials in dynamic environments
Capture customer feedback, technical observations, and competitive insights to support continuous improvement

Required

Experience in technical sales, solutions engineering, or a customer-facing technical role
Strong hands-on aptitude working with complex systems
Comfortable leading customer discussions
Troubleshooting in field environments
Supporting demonstrations and trials with minimal oversight
Degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline
Working knowledge of IP networking
Wireless communications
Linux-based systems
U.S. citizenship due to the handling of export-controlled materials
Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret security clearance
Lead pre-sales technical demonstrations, evaluations, trials, and proof-of-capability activities in support of active opportunities
Act as the primary technical point of contact for customers during pre-sales engagements
