Responsibilities

You will be the designated TL and lead the technical implementation of the GeminiApp web application, with a focus on the visual response rendering that is used across all the GeminiApp teams
You will be the key owner of the interface powering the Gemini machine learning models responses and how it is presented to the user
As a horizontal team, you will build bullet proof web frameworks that are used by our team internally and externally to interface with XXXM+ DAU
Collaborating closely with UX, PM, and other cross-functional partners, you will serve as a thought leader in the evolution of GeminiApp into a natively AI-driven application, effectively bridging the gap between imaginative vision and technical feasibility
Direct the day-to-day execution of a high-tempo engineering team, unblocking complex technical challenges and ensuring the timely launch of performant, high-quality features
Serve as the primary technical partner for Product, UX, and Backend teams, influencing server-side infrastructure and translating ambiguous product goals into actionable technical strategies

Required

Proven experience as a technical lead with a track record of leading high-performing web-application engineering teams
Extensive professional experience and expert-level proficiency in web applications/mobile mobile development, with a history of shipping complex, user-facing applications at scale
Experience leading the delivery of large-scale technical projects, defining team roadmaps, and making critical architectural decisions in collaboration with product and UX partners
A passion for developing engineers, with direct experience in mentoring and career growth development
Excellent collaboration and communication skills, capable of representing the team and driving alignment with senior leadership and non-technical stakeholders

Preferred

Experience with Websockets/Real Time Applications
Demonstrated Javascript/Typescript expertise
Familiarity with LLM systems and AI integrations into consumer applications
