Aperio Global is seeking an experienced Senior Developer to create custom analytics to perform at scale. The software engineer will work closely with data scientists and end users to develop innovative analytic tools to further discovery and tradecraft around critical global challenges.

Responsibilities

Work directly with data scientists as well as mission analysts to solve the most demanding strategic problems; perform end-to-end software engineering to prototype, develop, integrate, test, and deploy tools and tradecraft into the customer's corporate architecture

Required

Bachelor's degree plus 11-years of relevant experience or equivalent
Active TS/SCI with Polygraph required
Strong experience with Jupyter Notebooks, Java MapReduce, Python PySpark
Strong experience with statistical analysis and machine learning fundamentals
Strong experience with customer tools, architecture, data flow, and use of big data
Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, Gitlab; experience with Agile methodologies

Preferred

Experience with software development processes (i.e., requirements analysis, software design, implementation, testing, integration, deployment/installation, and maintenance) and programming
Experience with Data Science, Machine Learning (ML), Artificial Intelligence (AI) and using Large Language Models (LLMs)
