Responsibilities
Design and review electrical infrastructure including power distribution, UPS systems, generators, switchgear, PDUs, RPPs, and busway
Collaborate with mechanical engineers, architects, and IT teams to align electrical design with project requirements
Perform load calculations, power system analysis, and electrical engineering studies
Support commissioning activities including FAT/SAT for electrical equipment
Coordinate with contractors and vendors through construction, reviewing submittals, shop drawings, and RFIs
Develop electrical specifications, design standards, and technical documentation
Travel to active project sites (25-50%) across the U.S
Qualification
Required
7+ years of electrical engineering experience, with at least 3+ years in data center or mission-critical projects
Strong expertise in power distribution design, UPS systems, generators, switchgear, and medium-voltage substations
Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM coordination
Experience with load calculations, arc flash studies, and power system analysis (SKM, ETAP, or similar)
Familiarity with construction administration: RFIs, submittals, shop drawing reviews, contractor coordination
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
Preferred
PE license highly valued (not required)
