DevOps Lead
KPI Solutions is seeking a DevOps Lead to drive innovation, automation, and operational excellence across their technology environment. This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining tools and infrastructure to support engineering and development functions, ensuring smooth and secure operations aligned with business goals.

Responsibilities
Build and implement development tools, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud infrastructure
Deploy updates and fixes; provide Level 2 technical support
Automate development, deployment, and release processes
Conduct code reviews and analyze results to improve system performance and reliability
Identify and troubleshoot system issues; develop patches and updates
Develop integrations for internal back‑end systems
Create scripts and tools for system visualization and monitoring
Lead root‑cause analysis for production issues and ensure long‑term solutions
Maintain documentation, troubleshooting procedures, and operational best practices
Communicate project updates, priorities, and blockers to leadership
Lead and mentor DevOps engineers; set team priorities and career development plans
Delegate effectively and empower technical teams across the organization
Qualification
Required
7+ years' experience as a DevOps Engineer, DevOps Lead, or similar software engineering role
Strong skills with Git, GitHub, CI/CD practices, cloud infrastructure and networking, infrastructure as code (TerraForm/Bicep/CloudFormation), containers and orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes), and automation
Hands-on experience with Azure cloud services
Proficiency in Python or Ruby
Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases
Strong communication skills; able to explain technical concepts clearly
Detail-oriented with solid documentation habits
Strong problem-solving abilities and collaborative work style
Leadership experience—mentoring, guiding, or empowering technical teams
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Preferred
Enterprise-level development experience
Background in civil engineering or customer-experience environments
