Responsibilities
You’ll spend significant time in OpenShift and Kubernetes, managing clusters both on-prem and in the cloud
You won't just run scripts; you’ll develop complex Ansible playbooks, Shell, and Python scripts to automate infrastructure and security tasks
You’ll lead patch planning and vulnerability management using tools like Tanium, Nessus, and Cisco AMP to keep our systems bulletproof
You’ll bridge the gap between traditional data center operations (VMware/ESXi) and modern, containerized cloud solutions
You’ll be the 'Go-To' for deep-dive troubleshooting, ensuring 24/7 availability for services that millions of people rely on
Qualification
Required
7+ Years of Linux Grit: You know your way around RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu, and Suse like the back of your hand
Automation Mastery: You have at least 4 years of experience building Ansible playbooks and Python/Shell scripts from scratch
The Container Factor: You have hands-on experience tuning and maintaining Kubernetes or OpenShift clusters
Security Mindset: You understand that in the public sector, security is everything. Experience with McAfee, Nessus, or Tanium is a huge plus
Education: A Bachelor's degree in an IT-related or Engineering field
