Part-Time Integrated Telepsychiatry Provider (MD/DO/NP)
The University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus is a world-class medical destination at the forefront of transformative science, medicine, education and patient care. They are seeking a part-time Integrated Telepsychiatry Provider to provide clinical coverage as part of a psychiatric team, offering virtual consultative services to family medicine physicians and working with an interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities
Perform psychiatric consultations and evaluations that include assessment, diagnostic clarification, and bio-psycho-social conceptualizations
Provide medication management recommendations with review of side effects and indications
Provide psychoeducation to patients around diagnosis, next steps, and treatment options
Clear communication with patient and team regarding assessment, next steps, and treatment recommendations
Thorough documentation that clearly delineates a differential and thought process for both diagnostic considerations, clinical decision making and evidence-based treatment recommendations. Documentation needs to be easily understood by patients, family physician, and the interdisciplinary team
Provide recommendations and be willing to discuss questions and options with both provider and patient
Professional and respectful coordination with Interdisciplinary Team and Staff
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
MD/DO: 1-3 years of related clinical experience at rank or equivalent experience
Minimum degree qualifications: Board Certification in Psychiatry MD and/or DO
Applicants must possess a Colorado Medical License, DEA Certificate, Board Certified in Psychiatry
Must have prior experience in psychiatric setting, academic/residency program-related experience highly desirable
NP: 1-3 years of related clinical experience at rank or equivalent experience
Board Certification including PMHNP with American Nurse Credentialing Agency or equivalent certification body
Active and unrestricted license in Colorado as an APN/RXN
Adjoint Sr. Instructor: MD/DO 1-3 years of related clinical experience at rank or equivalent experience
Adjoint Sr. Instructor: Minimum degree qualifications: Board Certification in Psychiatry MD and/or DO
Adjoint Sr. Instructor: Applicants must possess a Colorado Medical License, DEA Certificate, Board Certified in Psychiatry
Adjoint Sr. Instructor: Must have prior experience in psychiatric setting, academic/residency program-related experience highly desirable
Adjoint Assistant Professor: MD/DO 1-3 years of related clinical experience at rank or equivalent experience
Adjoint Assistant Professor: Minimum degree qualifications: Board Certification in Psychiatry MD and/or DO
Adjoint Assistant Professor: Applicants must possess a Colorado Medical License, DEA Certificate, Board Certified in Psychiatry
Adjoint Assistant Professor: Must have prior experience in psychiatric setting, academic/residency program-related experience highly desirable
Adjoint Associate Professor: MD/DO 4-7 years of related clinical experience at rank or equivalent experience
Adjoint Associate Professor: Minimum degree qualifications: Board Certification in Psychiatry MD and/or DO
Adjoint Associate Professor: Applicants must possess a Colorado Medical License, DEA Certificate, Board Certified in Psychiatry
Adjoint Associate Professor: Must have prior experience in psychiatric setting, academic/residency program-related experience highly desirable
Adjoint Professor: MD/DO 7+ years of related clinical experience at rank or equivalent experience
Adjoint Professor: Minimum degree qualifications: Board Certification in Psychiatry MD and/or DO
Adjoint Professor: Applicants must possess a Colorado Medical License, DEA Certificate, Board Certified in Psychiatry
Adjoint Professor: Must have prior experience in psychiatric setting, academic/residency program-related experience highly desirable
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with a diverse population of patients, faculty, staff and students
Excellent clinical skills with evidence-based diagnostics and treatment recommendations
Capacity for flexibility and adaptability in different work situations
Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team and independently
Ability to work effectively on multiple tasks and maintain a well-organized work environment
Able to receive detailed information through oral communication, express or exchange ideas by verbal communication
