Responsibilities
Timely processing of break/fix tickets regarding voice systems including Microsoft Teams, VOIP, and analog lines
Modification of domain accounts
Assigning or modifying permissions
Setting up client computer profiles
Ensuring employees’ computers, software, and peripherals are operational
Imaging and deployment of computers
Installing and configuring software and peripherals
Creation/deletion of domain accounts
Providing courteous customer service to state agencies
Following up on customer questions and resolving problems quickly and efficiently
Working both independently and closely with a team
Collaborating with colleagues and clients to improve request fulfillment processes
Qualification
Required
Knowledge of Voice Over IP (VOIP) systems
Knowledge of Microsoft operating system, Microsoft Office and related products
Knowledge of principles, theories, and concepts of computer science
Knowledge of operation and maintenance of computers and associated equipment
Knowledge of data processing principles and applications
Knowledge of customer service techniques and principles
Ability to identify and resolve hardware/software issues on various computer hardware platforms
Ability to complete work within the assigned timeframes
Ability to communicate information concisely and accurately, both oral and written
Ability to work in a team environment and independently
Ability to learn new technologies as they change over time
Preferred
Associates Degree in Information Systems or related field or 2 years of previous work experience in the field of Computer Support
