TEKsystems is a leading provider of business and technology services, and they are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to support modernization efforts. This role focuses on building and maintaining data pipelines and analytics environments on Microsoft Azure.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain scalable data pipelines on Azure

Develop data ingestion, transformation, and processing solutions

Work with engineers, analysts, and business teams to understand data needs

Support reporting and analytics by ensuring data is accurate and accessible

Automate repetitive data tasks and create reusable code

Optimize pipelines for performance, cost, and security

Manage data storage solutions such as data lakes and data warehouses

Document data processes and follow data governance standards

Monitor pipelines, troubleshoot issues, and ensure stability

Mentor junior team members and participate in code reviews

Required

Strong experience with Python, Airflow, Data Modeling, Azure DevOps

Ability to obtain a public trust clearance

Experience with Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory, Databricks, ADLS, Azure SQL, and Power BI

Knowledge of ETL processes, data warehousing, and cloud architecture
