Responsibilities
Directs and plans all planning functions related to District facilities and provision of water and sewer services for new and existing District customers
Oversees the assessment and analysis of costs and requirements for securing water and/or sewer service
Collaborates with property owners to establish new projects through Utility Local Improvement Districts (ULIDs) and Developer Extension Agreements (DEAs)
Qualification
Required
Experience as a Planning Engineer
Ability to direct and plan all planning functions related to District facilities
Experience with capital planning, demand and capacity modeling
Ability to handle new water and sewer service inquiries and cost estimating
Experience with service area boundary adjustments (annexations)
Ability to issue water and sewer certificates of availability
Experience in assessing and analyzing costs and requirements for securing water and/or sewer service
Ability to collaborate with property owners to establish new projects through Utility Local Improvement Districts (ULIDs) and Developer Extension Agreements (DEAs)
Willingness to work full-time, Monday–Friday, with extended hours as needed
Ability to work remotely up to 2 days a week after orientation
