SOACC Intelligence Specialist – Research and Event Monitoring – 1st shift

Responsibilities
Report on crisis and intelligence events that directly impact bank operations, facilities, employees, or address leadership’s concerns regarding potential impact
Identify and analyze real-time open-source intelligence for potential impacts on the bank, and prepare concise, accurate reports for immediate distribution to senior leadership and stakeholders
Monitor incidents that fall within defined parameters and promptly report them to the approved audiences
Collaborate with regional intelligence analysts, corporate security, or other business partners to gather, vet, and review information
Research, collect, and report security intelligence relevant to assigned geographic areas or topics of interest
Support US and international intelligence analysts with routine research and occasional requests as the designated crisis/intelligence reporter
Assist protective services partners with truncated public record investigations
Review and approve intelligence reporting drafts as needed
Qualification
Required
Intelligence Expertise: Experienced in intelligence analysis and open-source intelligence (OSINT) research, with proficiency in social media monitoring tools
Advanced Research & Analytics: Demonstrated ability to conduct complex research and analysis using enterprise platforms and OSINT methodologies
Attention to Detail & Accuracy: Highly perceptive with strong attention to detail; able to meet strict deadlines during crisis events
Exceptional Communication Skills: Strong writing and editing skills for clear, concise reporting, and effective verbal communication for stakeholder engagement
Interpersonal Effectiveness: Proven ability to build relationships and collaborate across teams with professionalism and a positive attitude
High-Pressure Performance: Track record of operating effectively in fast-paced, time-sensitive environments while maintaining composure
Team-Oriented Leadership: Demonstrates a team-first mindset, adaptability, and proactive problem-solving
Prioritization & Multitasking: Skilled at managing competing priorities and making sound decisions under pressure
Must be able to work 1st shift hours (6:30am – 3:00pm ET) and flexible schedule as required
Preferred
Bachelor's Degree with a concentration in a relevant field (example: Intelligence Studies, Homeland Security, Criminal Justice, International Relations, Journalism)
Equivalent Work Experience: Two years in a related profession (example: Military or Law Enforcement, Federal or Private Sector Intelligence, Corporate Security, Crisis Response Communications)
