Responsibilities
Maintain the global enterprise network including wide area and local area networks as well as IP convergence
Maintain our Azure cloud networking environments which include: VNET creation & peering, VPN/ExpressRoute Gateways, and Express Route Circuit implementation and support
Install and maintain routers and switches in various network configurations supporting VLANs, Qos, VoIP, and advanced access-lists
Monitor and evaluate the network, make recommendations, and deploy solutions to enhance network performance
Ensure that network issues arising on a day-to-day operation are identified, reported, and resolved in a timely manner
Monitor and maintain the global voice systems including
OCisco voice router management ( CUBE/SBC )
OMicrosoft Teams Calling Environment via Direct Routing
OSIP Connectivity via Masergy and OneStream
OCisco Unified Communications Manager v14.x, Unity Connection v14.x
Qualification
Required
Experience with switching and routing in wide and local area networks
Experience supporting enterprise wide and local area networks
Azure Cloud Networking Experience
Cisco Voice Router (CUBE/SBC) experience
Management of SIP Connectivity
Microsoft Teams Calling with Direct Routing experience is vital
Cisco Unified Communications Deployment & Support experience is vital
Expertise in networking protocols (TCP/IP), Layer 1 connectivity via multiple medias, and network management concepts
Dedication to neat and effective cable management
Solid knowledge of BGP and EIGRP routing protocols and WAN connectivity options
Excellence in testing and documentation of procedures
Experience in implementing and monitoring network event logging and analysis
Experience with packet capture and interpretation (Wireshark)
Experience in Configuration & Change Management processes
Preferred
Advanced level networking certifications such as CCVP/CCNP (Cisco) –helpful
