Samsung Research America is a leading audio lab focused on delivering exceptional sound experiences. They are seeking an intern to assist in the development and implementation of Machine Learning and DSP-based technologies for audio and multimedia.

Responsibilities
Assisting in the development and implementation Machine Learning and DSP-based technologies for audio and multimedia
Helping translate algorithm code (typically written in MATLAB or Python) into to real-time C/C++ code to run on DSP and production hardware for developed technologies
Setting up test equipment, acquiring audio measurements, and analysis of data
Preparing documentation, reports, and presentations related to the technology and code
Working with research and product development teams in the US and Korea
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in a Master's or PhD program in Electrical Engineering or similar
Relevant coursework with coding skills for machine learning, including deep-learning techniques
Excellent understanding of signal processing for audio
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Attention to detail. Always thinking: 'How can I make this better?'
Highly motivated, productive, and demonstrating capability to be converted from intern to full-time upon graduation
