Required

An advanced university degree (Master's or higher) in public policy, public health, environmental policy, international development, or a related field is required
A minimum of 8 years of progressively responsible experience in public policy, environmental health, or public health, including experience related to lead exposure, lead policy, and associated maternal and child health risks, is required
Strong programme coordination skills, with experience supporting implementation of multi-partner strategies and workplans
Sound technical and analytical skills related to lead exposure, environmental health, and child and maternal health policy
Ability to analyze programme and performance data and translate findings into practical recommendations
Proven ability to work collaboratively with diverse partners across sectors and regions
Experience supporting results-based planning, monitoring, and reporting processes
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including preparation of briefs, reports, and presentations
Fluency in English is required

Preferred

Knowledge of another official UN language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian or Spanish)
Demonstrated experience working with key global lead and environmental health initiatives, institutions, and partnerships, including multilateral agencies, technical organizations, regulatory initiatives, and funders focused on lead mitigation and prevention
Experience supporting or contributing to, multi-stakeholder initiatives at global and country levels, including working with high-, low-, and middle-income governments, across ministries of health and environment
Understanding of the global lead and environmental health ecosystem, including key actors, networks, and partnership structures
