Lab Assistant

Assisting the Pl to do literature search and preparing PowerPoint slides related to surface sanitation
Assisting the Pl and graduate student to conduct microbiological research
Preparing and maintaining laboratory materials
Collecting data and using Excel to perform data analysis
Qualification
Required
High School or Equivalent
Work experience in a related health care setting or in a clinical or research laboratory setting; or 12 semester hours of academic training in biology and/or chemistry; or registration as a Certified Laboratory Assistant by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists or an equivalent registry; or successful completion of a formal program of instruction for laboratory assistants at a hospital or academic institution
1+ years laboratory experience, which may include academic lab courses, internships, or research assistant roles
Preferred
Bachelor's Degree - Microbiology, biology, food science, or a related field, with completion of relevant college-level coursework in microbiology and laboratory techniques
