Design Research Intern

Responsibilities

Assist in planning and conducting of primary (qualitative and quantitative) and secondary research, including, but not limited to, interviews, observations, surveys, and usability testing
Support synthesis of research findings into clear insights, themes, and opportunity areas
Create research artifacts such as interview guides, end user personas, journey maps, and research summaries
Participate in collaborative design and research sessions (e.g., brainstorms or workshops) with cross-functional teams
Help communicate research findings through presentations, reports, and informal team discussions

Required

Working toward or completed: BA/BS degree program or higher in a relevant field with demonstrated application of qualitative and/or quantitative research methods
Junior or Senior-level students (completed at least two years toward the stated degree)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Curiosity, empathy, and a willingness to learn in a collaborative environment
Openness to feedback and a willingness to iterate on work in a collaborative, professional manner
