Responsibilities
Creates and maintains a data dictionary and meta data
Supports efforts to ensure that data standards are developed and maintained
Ensures that the uses of data through reports and queries are accurate
Supports business and system re-engineering and architecture development to define future data needs
Serves as an organizational consultant on matters relating to databases by providing expertise to assist users in meeting their needs
Performs other related duties as required
Qualification
Required
A bachelor's degree and one year of experience in data analysis, statistics, or a related field, OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
Preferred
Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Informatics, Analytics, Engineering, Data Science, Public Health, Information Systems, or health related field
Familiar with collecting and interpreting data in EPIC/ PowerChart /REDCap
Advanced proficiency in SQL
Experience working with clinical/healthcare data
Demonstrated experience with relational database management systems
Prior data warehousing/ETL experience
Familiarity with REDCap
Experience with statistical packages such as SPSS, SAS, R
Strong analytical and organizational skills with particular attention to detail
Knowledge of clinical and research data use policies and regulations
Ability to work well in a team environment
Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
