They are seeking an Entry Level Software Engineer to join their Frameworks team for Enterprise Identity, where the engineer will engage in software design reviews, aid in mentorship, and work on new development as well as testing and improving existing code.
Information Technology
Responsibilities
Partake in software design reviews
Create software flow and sequence diagrams
Conduct code reviews
Aid in mentorship of 5 or 6 junior engineers as well as other engineers as needed
Create POC's
Research new best software decisions and make recommendations on best practices and how to move forward
Partake in scrum meetings
Be assigned user stories
Work on new development as well as testing and improving existing code
Qualification
Required
Expertise in Java
Expertise in Spring Boot
Expertise in Spring Core
Expertise in Spring Data
Expertise in microservices
Expertise in design patterns
Expertise in architectural design principles such as SOLID
Experience with relational databases
Experience with NoSQL databases
General understanding of authorizations and JWT tokens
Experience in software design reviews
Ability to create software flow and sequence diagrams
Conduct code reviews
Mentorship of junior engineers
Ability to create POCs
Researching new best software decisions
Making recommendations on best practices
Experience in Agile Scrum teams
Passion for code quality
Continuous learning of new technologies
Backend engineering experience
OOP programming experience
Experience with ORM like Spring Data or Hibernate
Experience with SQL and Non-SQL databases
Understanding of architecture principles
