Responsibilities
Support new product development and sustainment
Write and execute test plans and reports
Troubleshoot experiments and perform root cause analysis
Perform data analysis and statistical analysis
Work independently as well as communicate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, Product Management, and Quality
Qualification
Required
BS degree in Mechanical/Chemical/Materials/Biomedical Engineering or similar with 2+ years of experience in medical devices, medical diagnostics, or life sciences OR MS degree in Mechanical/Chemical/Materials/Biomedical Engineering or similar with 0-2 years of experience in medical devices, medical diagnostics, or life sciences
Experience working with laboratory instrumentation, especially acoustic liquid handlers
Hands-on wet lab skills (e.g. pipetting, centrifugation) and familiarity with safe chemical handling practices
English technical communication skills, written and oral
Ability to travel 5%
Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 25lb
Preferred
Biological laboratory methods such as PCR, qPCR, or gene sequencing highly preferred
Experimental design and troubleshooting experiments
Python for data processing and statistical analysis
