Responsibilities
Develop and execute a comprehensive EHS strategy and roadmap that aligns with the organization's overall business objectives and anticipates future safety challenges
Serve as a collaborative and communicative leader, providing EHS guidance, respect and support across all departments and levels of the organization
Define corporate and location-specific EHS priorities and develop and implement the systems and processes needed to support operations
Oversee safety procedures, policies, assessments, inspections, and incident investigations and ensure compliance with laws
Develop and manage internal safety databases, websites, and electronic tools to track performance, generate metrics, and evaluate corrective action plans
Lead, mentor, and develop EHS staff and future management fostering a collaborative and high-performing team
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field
10+ years of progressive experience in Environmental Health and Safety, preferably in a complex, technology-driven environment
Proven track record of developing and implementing successful EHS programs
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Strong knowledge of OSHA and other relevant regulations
Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or equivalent designation
Prior experience in transportation operations
